Sing To Energize

When our grandsons were here, I used to sing along with the little songs that would come out of their toy cars, after they pushed the button.

Songs like 'The Muffin Man' and 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' seemed to be a lot funnier when Oma would sing and occasionally even dance to them. Both the boys and I got a kick out of it.

It so turns out that music lifts the spirit, enhances the mood and gives more energy. Try it; sing along with your grandchildren and boost your energy.

It is great fun and it might even be a good way to keep older children's songs alive. You could teach them songs you sang when you were young and the kids will keep you up to date with their latest 'hits'.

Don't worry if your voice does not resemble that of an angel; I can't sing either, but that might even enhance the fun. Grin.
