Gone

Date of occurrence:
June 21, 2009.
Poof...., gone!

For days now, our youngest daughter has been trying to provoke her father in to an argument. He did not fall for it and either told her he was not going in to it with her or just left the room.

Today, he took the bait. He had given her an example of what she was doing and walked out. She followed him and was making a call, waiting for him to come back in to the office. When he did, she pushed all the right buttons and got exactly what she was aiming for. He told her what she was doing, how, who's example she was following and what he thought of it.

She told him she was leaving the next morning and upon his question where to, he was told that it was not of his business. He had enough of being used by her and made the point that if she was going to leave the next morning, she could leave today. The boys were welcome to stay until she would come and pick them up.

She wasted no time packing up some stuff and suddenly was able to do more in one hour then she had been doing all week. Lil' Leo, who was with her in the bedroom while she was packing, cut himself badly. She claimed he cut himself on glass, but I know there was no glass around. When I came in the bathroom to help, she yelled at me to 'get out' and to let her 'take care of her child'. I wished she had that want the past week.

After stuffing her car, she gathered up the boys and left. The room was a mess and she did not even bother to take any of the toys for the kids. Somehow, I had a hunch we would not see the boys for a long time.

Unfortunately, I was right.
