A Blank Canvas

Date of occurrence:
February 21, 2011.

Well, where children play some damage may occur from time to time, especially when they get hold of crayons and see walls as a blank canvas.

Kc had been playing in the front bedroom, where all the children's toys, are for quite a while and was coloring some pages in a coloring book, or so we thought.

Little did we know he tried to change the color of the wall from a light blue to a vibrant red, until I walked in the room to get something out of the closet and here is what I found!

No need to ask who did it and the question: "Why did you do that"?, yielded a sheepish grin as an answer. Kc knew he wasn't supposed to do that and my suspicion is that he tried to rub it off right after his creative moment. Of course that was easier said then done where it concerns crayons.

No, he didn't get in trouble, but he got a fair warning and the wall got its original color back in no time, thanks to a magic eraser! :-)
