The Party
Date of occurrence:
February 12, 2011.
The boys are having their Birthday party today. The intention was to hold it at a park, but it is rather cold and dreary which called for a change of plans and it was decided to hold it at their place.
That presented several problems; their trailer is not really suitable to accommodate many people and with a cat and a dog running around, that would kick up my Bronchitis and I would be gasping for air in no time.
Yeah, I know; those were the perfect justifications for not going and avoiding the people who would and have been giving us nothing, but grieve.
With all the focus on them, the boys will not miss us and when they are older, we will explain and they will understand why things are the way they are.
In the mean time, we will throw them a party pretty soon at our house as well. :-)
