Boosting Readership

I always enjoy reading family blogs, but it seems like there is not very much appreciation for them. The reason for my perception on that is due to the fact that this is a family blog and it takes forever to gain some popularity and returning readers.

I shouldn't be surprised, seeing the enormous amount of like-minded sites on the web. That makes it even more difficult to find and build links with relevant sites and blogs.

If you want to build up a list of good, quality blogs then that usually means investing a lot of time in finding sites to exchange free links with; the more links, the greater your readership and the more visits you will get.

I have been contemplating on increasing both my list of readers and my page rank by opening an account and submitting my site to a free link exchange service. If that doesn't do the trick, then nothing will!
