Five Times
Date of occurrence:
March 16, 2011.
We are trying to teach the little guy to count and he is doing a good job at it. We started out slow and easy of course and we have gotten to the number 5.
He grasps the concept that five is much more then one and to him, at the moment, that is the ultimate number to express what he considers to be long, far, much or wide.
He tells his mom he will be back in five, has been talking on the phone for five minutes, proclaims he wants five cars, and asks me if he can get five chocolates (yeah, he wished!). Grin.
The other day, he walked up to Opa, who was working in the office, and gave him a big hug. Upon Opa's response: "I love you, little bud". Kc told him he loved him too, spread out his arms and said: " I love you five times"!
It can't get any better then that. Well, maybe when he can count to ten, or fifteen, or indefinite! :-)
