The Treasure Box

September 16, 2011.
When we picked up the boys today, Kc could hardly wait showing us his new sunglasses.
He was proud and excited and told us he got those at school from the treasure box. Being the ignorant grandparents as we are, we didn't know what he was talking about, but he was eager to fill us in and bring us up to date.
It so turns out that in his class they have a box with all kinds of goodies in them; small toys the children are being rewarded with at the end of the week, after having been good, listened well, and/or helped out.
Ahhh, that explains the name 'Treasure Box' and also why our little critter is so happy with his new sunglasses. He worked for them and his hard labor paid off. He sure earned them fair and square.
Well done, little man. We are happy for and proud of you! :-)
