A Girlfriend???
Date of occurrence:
September 7, 2011.
Contrary to his brother, our oldest grandson Kc loves school and can hardly wait until it is time to go.
This afternoon, back from school and in the car with his Mom, we talked to him on the phone and, after the usual greetings and inquiries if he was doing well, I started asking him about school.
Oma: "Do you still like going to school?"
Kc: "Yeahh!"
Oma: "And what all did you learn today?"
Kc: "Ehh, my ABC's and one, two three."
Oma: "Wow. That sounds like fun. Do you have friends already?"
Kc: "Yes."
Oma: "What are their names?"
Kc: "Megan".
Both Oma on the phone and mom in the car reacted almost simultaneously:
"Megan? You have a girlfriend???"
Kc, very proud and excited: "Yes, her name is Megan!"
After a little more investigation, we found out that she is almost four years old, has blond hair and that our not yet five-year old grandson is totally smitten with her and, from what we heard, visa versa.
That little rascal!
