Been There, Done That

Date of occurrence:
December 23, 2011.

Even though we never got around to putting sand in the sandbox we have, it has come in handy several times during hot, summer days when we would fill it up with water and the grandchildren could cool off.

When not being in use, this turtle-shaped play equipment usually sits in the grass and, typical to and for a turtle, is not going anywhere fast if any at all, unless being drug to another spot.

Leo however found another use for it and turned it into a great hiding place. He had such fun hiding in it and even though it was hard to overlook where he was hiding, I played along.

Seeing how funny it was, Kc and Emmaly had to get into it as well and even though the turtle was hungry; it didn't have enough space in its tummy to hold all three of them without someone getting hurt and we decided to find something else to play with.

I did get a cute video though and should you ever wonder what prompts a Jack-in-the-box to hide where he does; ask Leo. He can tell you all about it, since he has been there, done that! Grin.
