A Change For The Better

It is good to know that all our grandchildren are healthy and well. Even our youngest grandson in The Netherlands, little Levi, is growing and developing accordingly. He is over 7 weeks old now, weighs well over eight and a half pounds, rather close to nine, and already reached the respectable length of 22.4 inches.

He is starting to smile and his mom told me that he produces a cute little noise when he does. She will try to catch it on video and send it to us by e-mail. We can hardly muster up the patience to see it pop up in our inbox and are eager to watch it. That is one of those times when we wished we could just hop over and visit.

When he was born, his parents sent out one of the cutest birth announcements I had come across in a long time. It was a baby peeking out of a box. The box opened and revealed the rest of a baby in diapers, as well as all the other information you normally would expect to find.

I know how difficult it is finding an appropriate, cute, and/or suiting birth announcement. It doesn't require as much time these days as it did a few years ago; the Internet provides great sites which offer unique cards for introducing the newborn to the world and it only takes one click or a few keystrokes to get there.

They don't cost an arm and a leg either and a minimum order of a hundred is a thing of the past. Yes, it used to be that way back, where I originate from, any order below this number would equate in paying more for the announcements. I don't know if that is still the case and I will ask our daughter about it.

Times sure have changed since then and in this case I would say for the better!

Audrey,
I am glad you agree, but even if you didn't; we can't prevent change, whether we like it or not. Grin.

(((HUGS)))

God's Grace.
