Tons Of Fun
This post brought to you by AppGear. All opinions are 100% mine.
This is cool, no matter how you slice it; toys you can not only collect, but you can also use to play interactive games with!
In this day and age almost all the children own or have access to a smart phone, iPad, or computer and since they are spending more and more time on the Internet, they might as well do it by using their imagination in old fashioned play and a state of the art combination of online games and technology.
With the new AppGear, a unique line of apps that seamlessly interact with cool, collectible toys, the kids can include these toys in their digital, online gaming. This opens up an entire new realm of possibilities where the best of both the virtual reality world and real life are drawn together into a new dimension; an amplified reality.
This month, WowWee, the company behind AppGear and a leader in innovative toys, robotics, and consumer electronics, launches two new games: Foam Fighters and ZombieBurbz. The first game consists of a collection of foam airplanes which fly on their own in the real world and when attached to an iPhone, iPod Touch or Android smart phone can carry out missions in the virtual world.
In ZombieBurbz, the kids can incorporate and help friendly, trash-eating zombie figurines in their quest to rid the city of its garbage and if neither one of those games appeals to them, then maybe one of the 4 titles which are coming out within the next 3 months will.
I can't help it, but this new trend of toys and games sounds like tons of fun to me and not just for the children!
