On Their Way
Date of occurrence:
July 1, 2012.
The time we have been looking forward to for half a year now has finally come; we will see our grandchildren tomorrow and they will spend the entire month of July here.
Their mom, accompanied by one of her friends, took the long drive up to Kansas to pick up the little ones and they are on their way back home. It will still take until tomorrow afternoon before they arrive and we hope their trip will be safe and enjoyable.
We have no doubt it will be. The children were elated to see their mom again after such a long time and we suspect they have lots to tell and share. It is a long, long drive though and we hope they will be able to endure it without too many problems.
A few toys and making several stops along the way should help. Especially the latter; the kids can run around for a little while and get it out of their system and I have no doubt those stops will be in order more often then not, since several sanitary stops are likely to occur.
I can't blame them; they have to get it out of their system! Grin.
