And That Makes Five
Date of occurrence:
June 16, 2012.
We never know when it is a good time to call and talk to our grandchildren. The times we got them on the phone when they were not napping, eating, or out grocery shopping are few and far between, but we are not complaining since we at least get to talk to them. It is just not possible to get in a routine and give the children something to count on.
Today, they were stocking up on groceries when we called and were asked to call back later, which we did. Little Kc was proud to tell us they had a new blue couch and had been to the lake. They didn't fish, but just watched and looked around, but they had a good time.
Leo usually talks up a storm when he gets on the phone, but was remarkably quiet this time. We suppose it just wasn't his day and have no doubt he will make up for it another time. It must not have been Emmaly's day either. She came on the phone crying and we couln't understand her when she tried to explain why.
We better get used to the hearing the cry of a baby again, since our youngest daughter found out last week that she is expecting another little one this coming January. We don't know yet what it is going to be, but yes, grandchild number five is on the way! :-)
