Being Prepared

Date of occurrence:
September 17, 2012.
Levi is almost 8 months old.

Our little guy is growing by leaps and bounds and is starting to explore the world around him. He is scooting forward fast and gets to where he wants in the blink of an eye.

That means both mom and dad need eyes in the back of their heads. Before they know it, those little hands could cause big trouble. The time has come where baby-proofing the house is essential, and so they did.

Levi can't sit up yet. Every time they sit him down, he gets extremely fascinated with those two extremities at the end of his little legs. Those little feet and toes work like a magnet and he wants to grab them every chance he gets.

The problem is that when he makes an attempt to get a hold of them, he falls over. That's okay; he will have plenty of time learning to sit up and examining his feet. It won't be long before he finds out what those feet are really intended for: walking.

I hope mom and dad are prepared for that! Grin.
