A Happy Father's Day!

June 19, 2016.

This year's Father's Day is one of those rare occasions when we have almost all the grand children together. Since that is the case, we better take advantage of it.

We gather them up for a picture, or at least we try to. It takes a while before they are all seated and it takes even longer to get them to look at the camera at the same time and say 'cheese'.

This is the best one we end up with and I assure you it wasn't for lack of trying. Grin.



They are glad the photo session is over and they can finally shower Opa with their handmade cards, a basket full of sweet treats, and a watch and keychain from Kc.

And then they all vanish into the front bedroom and it gets really quiet. Since that is usually not a good thing, I sneak a peek into the room and the opportunity to save the moment for posterity is too good to pass up.

The older kids are playing Uno, while Bell is having fun 'fixing' toys with the play-tools. Lily is supposed to be down for a nap, but decided her bottle is of more importance.



Everyone, and Opa in particular, is having a good time and that's what it is all about.

It most certainly is a happy Father's Day!
