Scout Camp Out

We are so thankful Kc enjoys being a scout. He gets to do so many things and visit places he otherwise would never have been able to experience.
This weekend, the Cub Scouts have a special, exciting itinerary; besides camping and going to a sea lab, they will also visit the coast guard facility and will get out on their boat.
They learn to tie some different knots, how to throw a rescue line, get a First Responder Course, and finally go on the coast guard boat where each of the scouts is allowed to take over the wheel and steer the boat.
After that exciting morning, it is off to the sea lab.
Upon asking what Kc loved most about the weekend, he replied: "Driving the boat. That was awesome!"
Yes, we can see that. His face tells the tale!
