Daley has grown old and tall enough to where the bars on his bed are no longer necessary.

That's great. I suspect Daley is happy to be able to get out of bed whenever he wants.

I just have a slight suspicion that will not be the case where Mom and Dad are concerned.

They will have to get used to seeing Daley's smiling face as soon as they open their eyes.
