K-9

Date of occurrence:
September 6, 2017.

As we pick Kc up from school, we ask him how his day was. He said it didn't go too well, because he almost got in trouble. Oh no, what happened?

He tells us that during recess he saw a dog standing in front of the school on the other side of the fence. Being the animal lover he is, he went up to the dog, talked to it and petted it.

After a little while, Kc turned and ran back to the playground. The dog apparently didn't like to be left alone, jumped the fence and ran after Kc who thought the dog was chasing him. Kc ran even faster and told the teacher a dog was chasing him.

She suspected Kc had opened the gate and let the dog in. He assured her he didn't and eventually she believed him. She got rid of the dog and all the students went back in. We were glad Kc didn't get in trouble and so was he.

The dog's intentions were good and maybe it wanted to learn. If so, it would have been in the wrong school. Kc's elementary school doesn't go higher then K-5.

The dog needed to attend K-9! Grin.
