Planning For Thanksgiving
Date of occurrence:
November 6, 2017.
The phone rings and Emmaly and Leo surprise us with a call. It sure is a nice surprise and we are excited to hear from them.
Leo has an agenda though and he doesn't hesitate to pose the question that is heavily on both his and Emmaly's minds: "Can we come over for Thanksgiving?"
Opa: "Well, of course you can. You will be spending the entire week here?"
Leo: "Yes, but you have to come get us and bring us back."
Opa: "That shouldn't be a problem. We are looking forward to having you over."
Leo is happy and satisfied and gives the phone over to Emmaly. She babbles along about anything and everything and is excited to be here for Thanksgiving.
We are eager to see them, but we have to be patient. It will still take about two weeks before they get here. That's okay. The main thing is they are coming over and it gives us some more time.
Time to plan for a wonderful Thanksgiving!
