The Unveil
Date of occurrence:
December 25, 2017.
It is finally that time all the children have been waiting for; to dive into the presents. They don't waste a second and the air fills with ripping paper and ohs and ahs.
Isabella loves every gift she unwraps. Emmaly is thrilled with all her Shopkins, Leo loves his art supplies, and Kc is left speechless by his Bluetooth ear phones and new pocket knife.
Lily is smitten with her make-up kit.
She applies the eye shadow liberally on and around her eye lids and the lipstick finds its way on more places then just the one it was designed for.
I warn her mom to take the lipstick away, since Lily already used it as a crayon to color on the kitchen floor.
Don't worry, we have hard flooring and it is a quick and easy clean-up. It wouldn't be on her mom's carpet though.
The most important thing is that all the kids are happy and excited.
