Too Noisy

Date of occurrence:
July 20, 2018.

All the kids are up and about. The boys have retreated to Kc's bedroom and are playing with their toys. They are laughing out loud and making all kinds of noise.

Emmaly comes into the kitchen.
Emmaly: "Oma, look at my bear."
Me: "What is he doing?"

Emmaly: "He is covering his ears, because the boys are making so much noise."

Me: "Bear doesn't like that, huh?"
Emmaly: "No. And neither do I."

Message received loud and clear.

I ask the boys to tone it down a little and they do.

I ask Emmaly if bear likes it better now that it is not so noisy anymore. Emmaly nods and says: "Yes, bear likes it much better."

And so does she!
