Let's Dance

Date of occurrence:
September 14, 2018.

Kc has his first Home Coming Dance at school today. He asked his friend Jasmine of she was going to the dance. She said she was and Kc told her he would see her there.

The dance starts at 5:30 PM and Kc is ready to rock and roll.

As we drop him off at school, we see his friend waiting for him.

She is waiting at the end of the drop off line and didn't notice Kc at the entrance.

We pick Kc up again around 7 o'clock.

He told us they found each other inside and spent the entire time together.

They danced and talked and Jasmine wanted to have their picture taken. The photographer told them to stand close together.

Kc: "That's when I got nervous."
Opa: "Did you hold hands?"
Kc: "Only for the picture."

We laugh and ask him if he had fun and enjoyed the dance. He sure did and at the end of the dance he asked Jasmine: "Did you have a good time?"
Jasmine responded: "I had an awesome time with you, Kc."
Kc: "Good. Maybe we can do it again sometime."

I have a slight suspicion this 'sometime' will come sooner then later! Grin.
