Too Early

Date of occurrence:
August 8, 2019.

I picked the pineapple.

It looked like it was ready, since the leaves on top were growing like crazy.

I take a picture for Emmaly and cut it up.

Curiosity gets the best of me and I sample it.
Uh oh, it has no taste at all.

I must have picked it too early. What a shame.

I better check the Internet what the best time would be to pick pineapples. At least we will know for next time.

Early birds catch the worms. Let me assure you though...

When they are too early, they won't be eating pineapple!
