Fun, Fun, And More Fun

October 7, 2023.

Aunt A. and I are picking up Kc, Bella, Lily, Londyn, and Sophia. We have a fun trip planned to a farm. This particular farm always has a great Halloween display, combined with rides, slides, animals, and lots of things for the kids to play on.

We start out by taking a group pic.

Then it is off to the corn maze. It takes us a while to figure our way out of it.

After having found the exit, the kids want to play for a bit.

No problem. We have plenty of time before we go on the hayride.

We all love the hayride. Londyn and Sophia are waving at the cows and horses we pass.

Sophia even tries to talk to them by calling out: “Moooooo.”

After this, they go on the cow train. Londyn loves the little wagons which are painted to resemble a cow. She laughs and claps her hands.

It’s time for a little break. We have some snacks and drinks and plan where to go next. There is so much to see and do.

It’s not an easy choice, but we decide to go to the pony ride.

Bella is already too big, but she tries her hand at roping. Lily, Londyn and Sophia get to ride the real ponies.

We visit the pigs, look at chickens and goats and let the children play again before we go to the gigantic slide.

It’s almost 5 o’clock when we decide to leave. But, not before they get some memorabilia from the gift shop.

On the way home, we pick up some meals that make them happy and then we drop them off.

It was a great day, or as Londyn proclaimed this afternoon: “This is SOOOO exciting!”
