Terrified

Date of occurrence:
July 6, 2024.

I need Leo to help me bringing in the groceries. I look in his room, but he is not there. I find him in Kc’s room, sitting on the bed, playing on his phone.

Me:”Ah, there he is.” No response or reaction from Leo.
Me:"Leo?" Still nothing. Just as I call him again, he looks up.

A bloodcurdling scream escapes from his lips.

At the same time he throws both arms and legs into the air.

He rolls back on the bed.

Leo (gasping for air):”Oma, you really really scared me.”

Turns out he did neither see, nor hear me at all. He had his earphones in and was totally absorbed by his game when a ghost named Oma came along. This ‘ghost’ did an excellent job.

Leo was scared silly!
