Little Artist
Date of occurrence:
February 15, 2009.
Kc is almost 2 years and 1 week old.
Ever since our oldest little rascal was around 14 months old, he loved to get a hold of a pen. He would scribble on any piece of paper he could find and.... his hands, footsies, chest and little tummy!
Aha, was Oma's thought. I need to encourage that. Since he is from a very artistic family (his great-grandma was an excellent painter), it might be in his genes. So, the next time the little critter came around, I got him a piece of paper, a few markers, a pen and sat him in my lap. Have at it, boy!
And so he did. Although he did not care for trying to draw anything, he was fascinated with the different colors. He scribbled and doodled, scratched and 'wrote'. He liked orange and loved blue, as I soon found out. So did his nose, haha.
However, the pen, the pen. That clearly had his preference. He may turn out to be a writer. That's great too, as long as those creative juices are flowing.
Other then in his diaper. Grin.
