October 9, 2009.
Our first granddaughter was born yesterday!
Her name is Emmaly Jese'-Mae and she weighs five pounds even and is 18" tall. She is a little red head, but that is not so surprising seeing how both her great grandmother had red hair and her aunt has as well.
Yeah, she is five and a half weeks early, due to constant contractions and mom being dilated already, but both mom and baby are doing well. As soon as we have pictures, I will post them.
Her aunt, our oldest daughter, attended the delivery and kept us up to date. I am grateful for that and I can only hope and pray that the relationship with our youngest will be mended soon!
Since we can not say it in person, we will say it on here:
"Hey there, little Emma! Welcome to the family. Opa and Oma love you very much!"

She is gona be something special I just know it ! Give her a couple of years and she will weap them to boys around her little finger ---and of course Opa and Oma too ! Blessings to all of ya'll and I will keep the family in prayer !
