Practising???
Date of occurrence:
April 26, 2009.
Kc is 2 yrs and almost 3 months old.
We had moved the dog house on to the patio, since it was in the way of reaching the garbage can. Not that Mia, our dog makes any use of it; she rather crawls under our storage building. We keep it anyway with the hope that one day she will use it.
It was very intriguing to lil' Kc though. While he was shovelling sand and carrying it from one place to another, he noticed Mia's empty food bowl. Without any hesitation he filled it up... with sand. I tried to explain to him that was Mia's plate and not to use it as a toy. Even though Mia is a mutt, she does not eat mud. Grin.
He then got interested by Mia's house; he half crawled in it and discovered that his voice echoed in it. He had the greatest fun talking and yelling in it and listening to the hollow sounds returning to his ears. I could not help but laugh at his actions, until he tried to get in it and make it his home.
No, no! It is dirty and there are some spiders in it as well, so I urged him to come out and not go back in anymore. He listened, even though it was with some reluctance.
There is time enough for him to find out, although I hope he never will. Maybe he is practicing, just in case. Should he ever be confined to it, then I hope he will come here and not stay out in the dog house. :-)
