Marching On

Date of occurrence:
June 15, 2009.

Our son in law is leaving for basic training today. Our youngest daughter is dropping him off and will stay as long as she can, while we watch the boys. She may not be able to stay at all, we don't know.

Even if she is allowed to stay with her husband, it will not be for long. She has an appointment with her baby doctor. An ultra sound is scheduled for 10.30 and we will get to know today what gender the baby is.

Son in law leaving is going to be very hard on both his wife and the boys. As far as we know, he will not be able to contact her any time soon. At least there is a blessing in today's circumstances: son in law gets to know whether the baby is a boy or a girl, before all communications are being cut off.

We don't know what awaits us in all this or what we may run in to. We just take it a day at the time and deal with whatever comes our way. We know we are not alone in all this and God has a plan. Everything will work out for the best. :-)
