Christmas 2010

Date of occurrence:
December 25, 2010.

Santa Claus has been extremely busy, trying to get all the presents for each one of our grand children. He sure hopes they like them and in order to save the little ones some time, he unwrapped them, assembled what needed assembly and ensured they were ready to be played with.

He also made three separate piles; one for each, in order to prevent mix ups and controversy. Both boys had almost the same presents and one of them was a little riding toy which resembled a motorcycle.

Little Missy got plenty of new girlie outfits and shoes to compliment them, along with a doll and a cute, pink horse which she could scoot around on.

Both boys went straight to the motorcycle and although the other presents were examined and played with as well, that turned out to be their favorite.

Emmy didn't know what was going on or where to look. No wonder; being a one year old, she doesn't have a comprehension of Christmas yet and all those presents were kind of overwhelming. I suspect she enjoyed the attention more then anything else.

Looking at those gleaming eyes and smiling faces, I would think Santa Claus did a good job! :-)
