First Day At School
Date of occurrence:
August 29, 2011.
The big day has finally arrived and the boys made their first entrance at pre-school. Since both are one year apart, they went in separate class rooms, but that didn't present a problem and they made acquaintance with their teachers, met new children and had fun, even without being allowed to bring their backpacks.
They even received and accomplished their first task with great success; creating their own name-tag and posed for mom's cell phone camera as proud as little peacocks.
It was even more fun when they got, or in this case had to wear their work of art around their necks and could play outside with all the playground equipment present.
It sure is a big step and a huge change in the lives of our little guys, having to go to school each day, but I am sure they will adapt to it pretty quick.
I think it is more difficult for Opa and Oma to adapt to the fact that the grandchildren are not being able to stay over that much anymore.
Oh well, there are always the weekends! :-)
