The Dress Shoes

A couple of days ago, both boys had gotten some new shoes for school and while talking with little Kc on the phone, he told us all about them. They were 'dress shoes', the color was brown and they were just for wearing to school.

I can totally understand those shoes were designated and specifically kept for going to school, because our little critters are typical boys who love to play, run, climb and crawl and that doesn't keep most of their shoes in a very good shape.

Well, unfortunately these shoes were in too good of a shape and will probably remain that way as well, because after wearing them for one day, both the boys feet were hurting and the shoes disappeared in the closet.

We should have taken the opportunity to go and see the shoes when our oldest grandson asked us to, but we thought we would get plenty of chances to admire them.

We sure didn't expect those shoes hitting the road that quick and it was a little reminder to never take anything for granted!
