The Sniffles
Date of occurrence:
September 2, 2011.
It didn't take very long and it was to be expected; our oldest grandson picked up a cold. It was almost inevitable, with all those children there is bound to be one sniffling and sneezing and yup, that spreads like wildfire.
The little critter wasn't feeling well at all, but he needed a doctor's excuse in order to be able to stay home. So, in the car and off to the doctor they went.
It would probably have been best to call first before driving all the way down there, because it so turned out the doctor was not in that day and as sick as little Kc was, he had to go to school.
Within a few days the entire family, including us, came down with a flu-like cold. We better be prepared; catching it is easy, getting rid of it takes a lot longer.
Hopefully the grandkids are over it soon!
