Aging With Grace
This post brought to you by NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.
Getting older does not always go without experiencing some or many discomforts. A limited mobility and/or even suffering from a disability can chain you to your home and take away your independence.
Should that be the case then NMEDA is the route to go reclaiming your freedom. This non-profit trade association educates consumers on buying products from a NMEDA qualified dealer and is the only association that promotes safe driving and equipment for the disabled.
NMEDA dealers sell handicap vans and vehicle modifications customized to your needs, requirements and lifestyle by doing an “in-person” evaluation and offering additional training or product refinements. All this assures you get the vehicle that best suits your situation.
There are also Quality Assurance Program (QAP) dealers. The program is the only nationally recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry and requires consistent, systematic, and documented approach to quality from their associated companies.
I went to nmeda.org, entered our ZIP code and found several qualified dealers close by. It certainly would benefit you doing the same when you like to get back on the road again. I am curious where your closest qualified dealer is located. Please, would you be so kind and share that in a comment on this post? Thank you so much.
It is good knowing we can age in grace and keep our independence too!
