A New Holiday: Creaster
Date of occurrence:
November 13, 2011.
The boys are already preparing for the upcoming Holidays and thinking of all the things they like to get from Santa Claus. Yes, Santa Claus is keeping his eyes and ears open and taking notes. :-)
While we were outside, the boys were 'running' errands, cycling and driving from one store to the other, when suddenly Kc rode up to me, let out the lowest 'Ho, ho, ho' he could produce, and declared he was Santa Claus and had a present for me.
Of course Leo refused to be left behind and pretended to be good ol' Saint Nick as well. He quickly changed into the Easter Bunny after Kc told him he had already claimed that title and both started competing to drop of their presents to me.
That created (pretended) confusion on Oma's part; Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny bringing me presents at the same time? How can that be? Ahhh, wait; it is Creaster!
Kc got the joke and busted out laughing. I don't think Leo grasped the concept entirely, but since it must be funny, he laughed just as hard and loud.
Not only did I accomplish the mission of keeping the peace, but we got to celebrate a new Holiday as well!
