Our Newest Grandson

Here he is: our newest little grandson! He made his entrance into this world today and both he and his mom are healthy and well.

His name is Levi Michel Christiaan and our little guy weighs in at 7 lbs and 4.93 oz. We don't know how tall he is, because apparently the hospital doesn't measure the newborns anymore, since it could cause harm to the baby's hips. I had never heard of that before, but I am the last person to have any problems with that, because safety comes first.

They are home already and the only problem they encountered is that Levi has a little trouble keeping his temperature. The solution to that is putting a hot water bottle in his crib and so far that is working well. If that would be an indication then we could safely assume our little guy is definitely not a hothead. Grin.

We are glad and grateful and proud of them and for them. We hope all will continue to go well and case it wasn't obvious yet; welcome little Levi. Opa and Oma love you! :-)
