Sending Presents
Date of occurrence:
January 21, 2012.
Leo's Birthday is coming up and we sent his present this morning, along with some other smaller presents for both Kc and Emmaly.
We decided on a recordable storybook and had fun recording it. The other two are getting those markers which only work on that particular paper and therefore we sent some of the coloring books along with it, so that no one has to worry about furniture, clothes and/or limbs being marked. Grin.
Aunt A. and uncle D. put in some cars for all of them. They will have some toys now, since all we hear from Kc is that they either watch TV or are playing Nintendo and don't have many other toys to play with.
We got to see the kids this evening, after having to remind their dad again of his promise that we could see them today. They showed us their new winter hats. It is cold up there and Kc was complaining he wasn't able to play outside. In his own words; "when it is too hot, we can not play outside and when it is too cold, we can not play outside".
Poor thing, we know he misses that and we hope it will change soon. He is our little outdoor man, but we hope the presents will soften the pain a little and give him and his siblings something else to do!
