Precious Moments
Date of occurrence:
January 14, 2012.
We are so looking forward to 6 pm today, because that is the time we and our grandkids' daddy agreed upon would be good to see and talk to them on the computer.
Aunt A. went out of her way to be here for that special occasion and to ensure everyone would be set and ready; I called 15 minutes before the appointed time. I am glad I did, because ex-son-in-law had forgotten about it and they were out to dinner when I called.
Okay, now what? He promised he would give us a call as soon as they got home and then set up the video conference. Well, there was nothing else for us to do but wait a little longer, which was extremely difficult since we had been looking forward to it so much.
Finally, around 7:30 he called and we tried Skype. It worked and we got to see our little critters. Leo and Emmaly were able to sit still for only a little while, but eventually disappeared out of the picture.
Kc on the other hand was happy to talk and told us they were getting a new house next month. We hope it is a bigger one then they have now; they sure can use the space.
After about 10 minutes they had to go offline because daddy said it was bedtime. We may not have seen them for very long, but the time we did most certainly falls under the precious moments! :-)
