Time-Out Again

Date of occurrence:
January 5, 2012.

It must be a chore to keep our oldest grandson's phone charged, but we finally got through after several times of trying to reach him. It actually took a text from his mom to prod his dad to charge it up again and thankfully he was kind enough to do so.

Kc told us Emmaly got in trouble again. Poor, little thing, she seems to get herself in time-out a lot. This time it was for not listening and she had to stay in the specifically for these occasions designated chair.

I can only imagine how hard it is for those little ones having to adapt to a strange environment, different rules, other routines, and an entirely new life. Since she is too young to express her feelings in words, she may be trying to relate them through actions.

Of course all of this is guess-work on my part and it was simply a thought that crossed my mind. I know how hard it is for her to sit in one place for more then a couple of minutes and I hope she will be able to avoid the time-outs.

The trouble she gets herself into is not worth the trouble she has to go through!
