Happy Birthday, Kc!
Date of occurrence:
February 8, 2012.
After several days of unsuccessfully trying to get someone to answer the phone, we certainly hope to get a call in today, since it is Kc's fifth birthday and we don't want to let that pass without wishing him a happy day.
We know they have been busy moving into their new abode, so we are not too worried about our grandkids' father not answering the phone, but it sure gets old constantly having to leave a message and hardly ever getting a reply.
Okay, enough complaints and time to try again. After leaving another message, we get a call back and the little birthday boy is on the line. He shares how he and Leo had gotten some shots too and it hurt, but he was fine.
He didn't have his presents yet and we reminded his dad to pick them up at their old address to which the package was mailed. At the time we sent it on its way, we had no clue they were moving.
He also got a haircut which his father gave him; a military cut and he was proud to mention it looked just like his daddy's. I can't help it, but I hate to see all those cute curls go, but I also know his hair gets all tangled up when those curls get longer.
We hope to see that shaved little head soon. For now; Happy Birthday, little man!
