Happy Birthday, Leo!

Date of occurrence:
January 30, 2012.

Today is Leo's fourth birthday and we called to wish him a Happy Birthday and to find out whether they got their presents and how they liked them.

We sure loved the gifts we got; two pictures from our little critters, taken at their new school and since today also was their first day at school, we waited until late in the afternoon before calling, but it took until 7 pm when we got a call back and got to talk to the kids.

We didn't get to talk to Leo much, we suppose he was way too excited about his big day and after wishing him a Happy Birthday, he got off the phone and let his big brother do the talking.

Their daddy was listening in the background, because upon asking how Kc liked his coloring book, he called out saying they hadn't opened their presents yet and were going to do so after this phone call. Oops, I hope I didn't spoil the surprise.

Apparently, Emmaly is staying with a baby-sitter during the day. Her momma found that out when she called earlier and mom had a hard time dealing with that.

We got to talk to the kids for just a few minutes and then they had to get off the phone. At least we got to share in Leo's special day for a little while.
