The Hike
Date of occurrence:
December 26, 2015.
Since aunt A. is off work, she decides to spend some time with her nephews and niece while they are down here.
She takes them with her to the island where they explore the beach and go hiking.
The hike turns out to be much longer then she anticipated and the kids are getting tired.
Emmaly spends the last part of it on her aunts back and the boys keep asking her when they will finally reach their destination.
Suddenly, Leo spots a small building with a vending machine filled with refreshing drinks. They made it and can enjoy some needed rest, while sipping on their well deserved drinks.
They head on back, ready for the next adventure which will be admiring a Christmas light display.
The kids all agree: it was a great day, but the next hike should not be that long. Don't worry, kids.
