Kaboom!
Date of occurrence:
July 22, 2016.
It is a rainy day and I have been figuring out what to do to keep the kids busy without their eyes turning into squares from either watching TV, or playing on the computer and their tablets all day long.
Kc had indicated earlier that he wanted to do some of the elective requirements in his scout book. That is a great idea. There is an entire chapter called 'Art Explosion' in it and one of the requirements is to create something out of clay and dry it.
We bring out the Play-Doh and let our imaginations run free.
They have no clue what to make at first.
It doesn't take long though before their creative juices start flowing.
Leo ends up with what was supposed to be a flower, but turned out to be a magic wand.
Emmaly made three roses: one for her Mom, one for aunt A. and one for me.
And Kc? He unintentionally creates a mushroom.
Sometimes, you just go with the flow and.... Kaboom: an art explosion!
