The Expert

August 20, 2016.

Today is Opa's birthday and Kc can't wait to give him the present he got him. He chose it with thought and care. Yes, he diligently researched, compared, and studied up on it online and armed with all the knowledge he gained, he went to the store with aunt A.

They looked and examined each available one. Several of aunt A.'s suggestions were denied and Kc told her in depth why the ones she suggested would not do. He even taught her some things and she was very impressed with his expertise.

Our little man finally found the one he was looking for. Nothing else would do and the purchase was quickly made. He couldn't wait to show me and I had to admit it was an excellent, super-nice pocket knife. Opa would be pleased.

It is finally time to present his gift to Opa who is thrilled with it. It becomes even more special after hearing how much work and thought went into it. Opa had been looking on the web at this pocket knife several times and he though it would make a good gift for Kc.

Well, our grandson was one step ahead of his Opa and can call himself an expert where pocket knives are concerned. I am not surprised.

He learned from the best!
