The Wildcats
Date of occurrence:
February 27, 2018.
Kc is not a Boy Scout yet, but in preparation of being one soon, he is attending his first Boy Scout meeting today.
While he meets with his new patrol, the (grand)parents are being educated on the dynamics and workings of scouting, and their role in supporting the new scout.
My head is spinning after having received a load of information and I am grateful for the presence of aunt A. She insisted on going with us and would like to continue her involvement with her nephew and his scouting career.
Kc is really excited after his meeting and says he loves it. Half of his new patrol are cub scouts from his pack and he saw several of his scout friends who had already crossed over last year.
The newbies got to vote on a name for their patrol and the winner is 'Wildcats'.
That sounds great and I can't wait to sew his patrol emblem on his boy scout uniform as soon as he gets it.
Don't worry. I won't go wild! Grin.
