Spring Fling
Date of occurrence:
April 20, 2018.
It is Spring Fling at school today and the kids are advised to come in bathing suits, bring a towel and a change of clothes.
A huge waterslide is the center of attention and all the children line up to take their turn.
There is only one wrench being thrown into the works and that is the weather. It is pretty cold this morning.
It doesn't prevent Kc from sliding down anyway, but after two times he has enough of being cold and, along with his friend, they move on to the petting zoo.
From there they go on to games, food, and play, until it is time to get an early dismissal. Well, guess what? Kc doesn't want an early dismissal. Wow, that's a first.
He and his friend are having way too much fun and like to stay a while longer. That is fine with me and we stay.
The time to go comes quick and we are glad he had a good time. Oops, let me rephrase that.
