Happy New Year!
Date of occurrence:
January 1, 2019.
The new year came and went in silence where we were concerned. Everyone slept through the joyous occurrence, even though enough fireworks could be heard when the children went to bed.
We had asked them if they wanted to do something special.
All three of them kindly declined.
No fireworks, no staying up late, and no waking up at midnight.
We were a little surprised by that, but okay. We are down with that. Bedding down, that is. Not a peep could be heard until early this morning.
I am sure they will make up for it during the day. Grin.
