Covering The Bases

Date of occurrence:
December 25, 2018.

The kids are playing in the bedroom with their new toys. After a little while, Lily comes in the living room.

She looks around and says: "Oma? Aunt A.? Momma? I thirsty. I want a drink!"
Lily doesn't care who gets it for her. As long as she gets something to drink, she is fine.

Aunt A. laughs out loud and states the obvious: "She sure covered the bases."
Lily's Mom grins: "Yeah. Somebody... give me a drink!"

Within no time Lily's thirst is quenched and she goes back to playing.

Covering the bases worked like a charm! Grin.
