Pie and More Pie

December 25, 2018.

I know Bell is a picky eater and I ensure to have some corn on the cob, which she loves. She is enjoying it and tastes a little of everything else.

She suddenly looks at me and asks: "Oma. Where are the pies?"
Me: "Pies? Why do you think I made pies?"
Bell: "You always do. Where are they?"
Me, teasing her: "I don't have pies this time."
Bell grins: "Yes you do."
Me: "Okay, okay. They are in the kitchen and we will have them for dessert."

That is not enough info for Bell.

She wants to know what kind of pies are on the menu.

When she finds out it is pumpkin and cheesecake pie, she says she wants both.

She can hardly wait until it is time for pie.

She wants both, but I suspect she will not be able to stuff all that in her tummy. We decide to start with one and if she still can eat the other one, she can have it.

She opts for the cheesecake pie and wolves it down.
Me: "Bell? Do you still have space for pumpkin pie?"
Bell: "No. I am full!"

I figured that would be the case. There is always later.

Bell can have more pie!
