I Guess
Date of occurrence:
October 1, 2019.
It is time to get up and get ready for school.
I open Kc's bedroom door. It is pretty dark and I am about to walk over to his bed, but my instinct tells me something is wrong.
As soon as my eyes are adjusted to the darkness, I notice something laying on the floor. I can't tell right away what it is, but I know it is not supposed to be there.
I turn on the light and find Kc stretched out on the floor. He is fast asleep.
Me: "Kc? Kc, wake up, honey."
Kc stirs and shields his eyes from the light.
Me: "Did you fall out of bed??"
Kc, still half asleep: "I guess."
I don't guess. I know for sure he did. He must not even have noticed he landed on the floor.
Uh, I guess??? :-)
